विश्लेषण

The reading

Ashtakavarga is the Jyotish system that turns chart strength into numbers. For each of the seven grahas it tallies benefic points (bindus) contributed by eight reference points across the twelve signs, producing a Bhinnashtakavarga (individual graha chart) and, summed, the Sarvashtakavarga — a single map of where your chart is strong and where it is thin. The power of the method is that it is quantified: a house holding 30+ bindus behaves very differently from one holding under 25, and a transit through a high-bindu sign delivers where the same transit through a low-bindu sign quietly under-performs.

This report is for buyers who want that numeric layer on top of ordinary reading — a strong-versus-weak map of the chart they can trust, and a transit forecast filtered through it so they know which upcoming transits are worth planning around. We carry the analysis down to the kakshya level, the finest division of Ashtakavarga, where a transiting planet's position within a sign tells you whether a given stretch of a transit is supported or starved.

Honest as always: high bindus are reported as strength and low bindus as weakness without spin, and where a transit lands on a borderline count we say it is borderline rather than forcing it into "great" or "terrible."

आप क्या जानेंगे

What you'll actually uncover

Read against the classics

  • The bindu tally in each sign is computed by the classical reference scheme for all seven grahas, so a house's strength is read from its actual count rather than asserted — high bindus reported as strength and low as weakness without spin. [Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra]
  • A transit is judged by the bindu count of the sign it crosses — a slow mover through a high-bindu sign flagged as likely to deliver, the same body through a low-bindu sign flagged as likely to under-perform, with the kakshya layer separating the supported stretches from the hollow ones. [Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra]
  • Where the numeric strength layer tempers or reinforces a conclusion drawn from the house lords, the two are read together rather than in isolation, and a borderline count is named as borderline. [Phaladeepika]
क्या मिलेगा

What's included

Full Bhinnashtakavarga for all seven grahas

The individual Ashtakavarga of each of the seven grahas — Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn — with the bindu count in every sign shown and read. Each graha's own chart tells you which signs (and so which houses) it is empowered to act through, and which it is muted in.

Sarvashtakavarga totals by sign

The combined Sarvashtakavarga: the total bindus in each of the twelve signs (summing to the classical 337), presented as a clear sign-by-sign and house-by-house table. This is the master strength map of your chart at a glance — the high-scoring signs where matters flourish and the low-scoring signs where they struggle.

What the bindu counts say about each house

A house-by-house reading of what the numbers mean in plain terms: which life areas your chart funds generously (the high-bindu houses) and which run on a thin budget (the low-bindu ones), how that aligns or conflicts with the rest of the chart, and where the numbers temper or reinforce a conclusion you'd draw from house lords alone.

Transit timing by Ashtakavarga — deliver vs fizzle

The practical payoff: your significant upcoming transits (slow movers especially — Saturn, Jupiter, Rahu/Ketu) read through the bindu map. A transit crossing a high-bindu sign is flagged as likely to deliver; the same body crossing a low-bindu sign is flagged as likely to under-perform or strain. You get a filtered transit forecast that tells you which windows are worth acting on. (To pick exact dates inside a high-bindu window, see Muhurta Lookup.)

Kakshya-level transit refinement

The fine-grained layer: each sign is divided into eight kakshyas, each owned by a graha that either contributes a bindu there or does not. We track the transiting planet's kakshya so you know, within a transit, which stretches are supported and which are hollow — turning a months-long transit into a sequence of stronger and weaker sub-windows.

Practical strong-vs-weak map of your chart

A consolidated, plain-language summary: the houses and life areas to lean into, the ones to shore up or be cautious with, and how to time effort toward the high-bindu windows — the whole quantified analysis distilled into something you can act on.

Two follow-up questions

After you receive the report, you may ask two follow-up questions by message or email, and we will answer them to clarify anything in your reading.

किसके लिए

Best suited for

  • Anyone who wants chart strength expressed in numbers, not adjectives
  • People planning around upcoming transits who want to know which ones will actually deliver
  • Readers who already understand dasha and want the transit-timing layer sharpened
  • Those weighing a major decision and wanting a quantified read on the relevant house
  • Anyone curious about Ashtakavarga and kakshya-level transit refinement specifically

How it works

  1. You place the order and complete the intake; we confirm birth data and the focus areas.
  2. We compute the Bhinnashtakavarga for all seven grahas and the Sarvashtakavarga totals.
  3. We read the bindu map house by house, then run your upcoming transits through it down to the kakshya level — reviewed by hand against the Ashtakavarga texts.
  4. We distil the strong-vs-weak map and the deliver-vs-fizzle transit windows.
  5. PDF delivered to your email within 48 hours.
आवश्यक जानकारी

What we'll ask you

  • Which life area matters most to you right now? (optional)
  • What time window should the transit forecast cover, and any transit you're already tracking? (optional)
  • Which place should we assume for transit localisation? (optional)
प्रश्न

Frequently asked

How is this different from a normal transit forecast?
An ordinary transit forecast says "Saturn enters your 7th." Ashtakavarga tells you whether your 7th is funded enough (its bindu count) for that transit to deliver or fizzle, and the kakshya layer tells you which months within the transit are the real ones. It's transit timing with a strength filter.
Do I need to understand dasha first?
No, but it helps. Ashtakavarga is most powerful read alongside your dasha — the dasha says when a theme is live, the bindus say how strongly the chart can deliver it. If you have a natal reading already, this slots neatly on top.
What's a "good" Sarvashtakavarga number for a house?
As a rough guide, well above the 28-average (the high-30s) is strong and the low-20s is weak — but we always read the count in the chart's context rather than by the table alone, and we tell you when a count is genuinely borderline.
What's not included?
  • Ashtakavarga quantifies strength and refines transit timing; it does not replace the dasha-based life narrative in Kundali Analysis.
  • Bindu counts are a strength layer read alongside the rest of the chart, not a standalone fortune-teller — we read them in context.
  • We forecast the transit windows you specify; for an exact actionable date inside a window, add Muhurta Lookup.
  • We do not sell remedial items.
