Tarabalam Today — Nakshatra Strength Tableताराबलम्

Tarabalam is the muhurta-strength classification of today’s nakshatra relative to your birth nakshatra. The 9-tara cycle is computed by counting forward from janma-nakshatra; positions 2, 4, 6, 8, 9 are favourable, positions 3, 5, 7 are not, and position 1 (Janma) is neutral with caveats.

Tarabalam (or Tarabala) is the classical strength lookup used in muhurta selection: a 27-row table mapping every janma-nakshatra to its tara-position relative to today’s nakshatra. The 9-cycle (Janma → Sampat → Vipat → Kshema → Pratyari → Sadhaka → Vadha → Mitra → Ati-Mitra) tells you whether the day is favourable for someone with a given birth nakshatra. This tool computes today’s full table live for any city.
