Tarabalam (or Tarabala) is the classical strength lookup used in muhurta selection: a 27-row table mapping every janma-nakshatra to its tara-position relative to today’s nakshatra. The 9-cycle (Janma → Sampat → Vipat → Kshema → Pratyari → Sadhaka → Vadha → Mitra → Ati-Mitra) tells you whether the day is favourable for someone with a given birth nakshatra. Tarabalam (Tarabala) is the classical strength table used in muhurta selection. It maps every birth nakshatra to its tara position relative to today's nakshatra, telling you whether the day is favourable for someone born under that nakshatra.
