What your report looks like
These are real sections from reports we have delivered — names and birth data redacted. Your report is written fresh from your own chart.

Drawn from the classical corpus

The reading
Prashna is the horary branch of Jyotish: instead of your birth chart, we cast a chart for the exact moment and place a genuine question arises, and read the answer from that chart. The classical premise is that the moment a sincere question is born carries the same significatory weight as a birth — the lagna rising at that instant, the Moon's condition, and the relevant house and its lord describe the matter and its outcome. This makes Prashna the right tool when your birth time is unknown, when the question is time-sensitive, or when you simply want a clean read on one thing.
This is a single-question product. You ask one specific, answerable question — a yes/no, a which, or a when — and we answer it with the classical reasoning laid bare, so you can see why the chart says what it says rather than taking a verdict on faith. It is the lowest-priced way to work with us and a good first taste of how we read.
Honest as always: a chart that does not clearly support the matter is reported as such, and where the prashna chart is itself unfit to judge (a void Moon, an obstructed lagna, an unsettled question), we say so plainly rather than forcing an answer.
What you'll actually uncover
Read against the classics
- The answer is read from the horary chart cast for the exact moment and place your question arose — the rising prashna-lagna and its lord (you), the Moon's condition, and the house ruling the matter and its lord — with the chain of reasoning shown, not a bare verdict. [Prashna Marga]
- Judgeability is tested first: a void-of-course Moon, an obstructed lagna or an unsettled question is named as such, and we decline to force an answer rather than manufacture one. [Prashna Tantra]
- Where the question is a 'when', timing is read from the applying-vs-separating contacts and the significators' degrees-to-perfection, translated into a realistic window rather than a false-precision date. [Prashna Marga][Prashna Tantra]
What's included
The prashna chart cast for your moment
The horary chart drawn for the exact time and place you asked the question, localised to that place: the rising sign and degree (prashna-lagna), the Moon's sign, nakshatra and condition, and the placement of every graha at that instant. This chart — not a birth chart — is the entire basis of the judgement.
The answer, with classical reasoning shown
A direct answer to your one question, supported step by step: the lagna and its lord (you, the querent, and your engagement with the matter), the Moon (the mind, the flow of the question, and any void-of-course / sandhi condition that bears on judgeability), the house ruling the matter and its lord (e.g. 7th for a partner or opponent, 10th for career, 11th for gains, 6th for litigation or illness), and the strength, dignity, and aspects of the significators — including applying vs separating contacts that signal whether the matter is forming or slipping away. You see the chain of inference, not just the verdict.
Timing, where the question calls for it
If your question is a when, or if a yes/no answer carries a natural timeframe, we read it from the chart: the speed and degrees-to-perfection of the significators, the Moon's progress to its next aspect, and the relevant dasha/transit cues — translated into a realistic window rather than a false-precision date.
Caveats and judgeability check
An explicit note on how trustworthy this particular chart is to judge: whether the lagna and Moon are fit (the classical "is this question askable?" tests), any obstructions (Saturn or malefics on the relevant angle), and what would warrant re-asking at a later moment. Where the chart is silent or unfit, we say so.
Two follow-up questions
After you receive the report, you may ask two follow-up questions by message or email, and we will answer them to clarify anything in your reading.
At a glance
Best suited for
- Anyone with one pressing, specific question who wants a clean answer
- People with unknown or uncertain birth time (Prashna needs none)
- Those facing a time-sensitive decision — accept the offer or not, will the deal close, should I travel
- First-time clients who want a low-cost sample of our method before a full reading
- Anyone curious about horary technique specifically
How it works
- You place the order and submit your one question, the time you asked it, and the place.
- We cast the prashna chart for that exact moment and place, and run the judgeability check.
- We read the lagna, Moon, and the relevant house and its lord, derive the answer and any timing, and review it by hand against the horary texts.
- PDF delivered to your email within 24 hours.
What we'll ask you
- Your single question
- How should we time the prashna chart?
- The exact date and time you asked it (if specifying your own)
- The place you asked it from
- Any context so we read the right house (optional)
Frequently asked
- Why don't you need my birth details?
- Horary works from the chart of the moment the question arises, not your birth. The rising sign, the Moon, and the house ruling your matter at that instant carry the answer. That's the whole power of Prashna — it works even with no birth time at all.
- What makes a good Prashna question?
- One specific, answerable thing — "will this job offer come through," "should I accept by Friday," "which of the two houses should I buy." Vague or multi-part questions ("how will my life go") belong in a natal reading, not horary.
- What if the chart can't answer?
- Sometimes it can't — a void Moon, an obstructed lagna, or an unsettled question. We tell you honestly, explain why, and suggest a better moment to re-ask rather than inventing a verdict.
- What's not included?
- One question per order. A second question needs a fresh chart cast for its moment — order again, or step up to a full natal reading.
- Prashna does not analyse your life or birth chart; for a full natal picture, see Kundali Analysis.
- We do not force a verdict on an unfit chart; if the moment is unjudgeable we say so and suggest re-asking.
- We do not sell remedial items.
