What your report looks like
These are real sections from reports we have delivered — names and birth data redacted. Your report is written fresh from your own chart.

Drawn from the classical corpus
- बृहत्पाराशरहोराशास्त्रBrihat Parashara Hora Shastra — on grahas, bhavas & dashas
- फलदीपिकाPhaladeepika (Mantreswara) — on yogas & results
- सारावलीSaravali (Kalyana Varma) — on planetary effects
The reading
Jaimini is a parallel system of Jyotish, distinct in its machinery from the familiar Parashari approach. Where Parashari leans on house lords, planetary aspects, and the Vimshottari (nakshatra-based) dasha, Jaimini works through chara karakas (the planets ranked by degree to become significators of life roles), sign aspects (rasi-drishti) rather than planetary aspects, argala (the system's logic of intervention and obstruction), and sign-based dashas — chiefly the Chara dasha, whose periods are signs, not planets. It reads the same chart from a genuinely different angle, and it often illuminates exactly the matters Parashari leaves ambiguous.
This report is for buyers who already know their Parashari reading and want the complementary Jaimini view laid over it: who their soul-significator (Atmakaraka) is and what the karakamsa says about its deepest drives, which sign-periods of the Chara dasha activate which themes, where argala empowers or blocks a result, and which Jaimini raja yogas the chart carries. The two systems are not rivals — read together they triangulate, and where they agree the conclusion is firm, where they differ the difference is itself informative.
Honest as always: Jaimini is a self-contained tradition with its own rules, and we read it on its own terms rather than translating it loosely into Parashari language. Where the chara-dasha sequence is quiet, or where the karakas are clustered ambiguously, we say so.
What you'll actually uncover
Read against the classics
- The chara karakas are derived by ranking your planets by degree, so the Atmakaraka (soul significator) and the other karakas are identified by the system's own rule rather than chosen to fit a conclusion. [Jaimini Upadesha Sutras]
- The Chara dasha sign-periods are computed and read by the houses each sign rules, the karakas it touches and the rasi-drishti (sign aspects) upon it — a sign-based timeline read on Jaimini's own terms, not translated loosely into Parashari language. [Jaimini Upadesha Sutras]
- Whether a promised result actually fructifies is tested through argala (supporting intervention) and the virodha-argala that obstructs it — so a Jaimini raja yoga is read as empowered or blocked, and a quiet chara-dasha stretch is reported as quiet. [Jaimini Upadesha Sutras]
What's included
Chara karakas — Atmakaraka to Darakaraka
The seven (or eight) chara karakas derived by ranking your planets by degree: the Atmakaraka (soul significator — the highest-degree planet and the chart's most important point in Jaimini), down through Amatyakaraka, Bhratrikaraka, Matrikaraka, Putrakaraka, Gnatikaraka, and Darakaraka (the spouse significator). Each is identified and read for what it signifies about that life-role in your chart.
Karakamsa & Swamsa reading
The placement of the Atmakaraka in the navamsa — the karakamsa — and the Swamsa lagna built from it, read as the chart of your soul's orientation: the deities, drives, profession-tendencies, and spiritual inclinations indicated by the grahas placed in and aspecting the karakamsa. This is the heart of Jaimini's character analysis.
Chara dasha timeline — what each sign-period activates
Your Chara dasha sequence computed and laid out as a timeline: the order and length of the sign-periods (which in Jaimini run by sign, with durations counted by a defined rule), and what each active sign activates by virtue of the houses it rules, the karakas it touches, and the rasi-aspects upon it. You get a sign-period map of life themes to set beside your Vimshottari.
Argala (intervention) analysis
The Jaimini logic of argala — how planets in specific houses from a reference point intervene to support a result, and the virodha-argala that obstructs that intervention — applied to your key houses and karakas. This is how Jaimini decides whether a promised result actually fructifies or is blocked.
Rasi-drishti insights
The system's distinctive sign aspects (movable signs aspect fixed except the adjacent, and so on) read across your chart — relationships between houses and karakas that Parashari's planetary aspects simply do not show, often clarifying connections the other system misses.
Key Jaimini raja yogas
The raja yogas defined in the Jaimini tradition (the karaka/lagna and Atmakaraka–Putrakaraka type combinations, and the relevant sign-lord associations) identified where present in your chart, with what each contributes to status, success, and the timing of its rise via the Chara dasha.

At a glance
Best suited for
- Readers who already have a Parashari reading and want the complementary Jaimini lens
- People whose Parashari chart felt ambiguous on a key theme and want a second system's verdict
- Those drawn to soul-level / Atmakaraka analysis and the karakamsa
- Anyone wanting sign-based (Chara dasha) timing alongside their planetary Vimshottari
- Students and enthusiasts of Jaimini who want a rigorous worked reading
How it works
- You place the order and complete the intake; we confirm birth data and your focus themes.
- We derive the chara karakas, set the karakamsa and Swamsa, and read them.
- We compute the Chara dasha timeline, run the argala and rasi-drishti analysis, and identify the Jaimini raja yogas — reviewed by hand against the Jaimini texts.
- We read the result against your Parashari conclusions where you've shared them, noting agreement and informative differences.
- PDF delivered to your email within 48 hours.

- How should we pitch the Jaimini machinery? (optional)
- Have you had a Parashari reading, and what did it conclude? (optional)
- Any period of life you want the Chara dasha timeline focused on? (optional)
Frequently asked
- How is Jaimini different from my normal kundali reading?
- It's a different toolkit on the same chart. Parashari uses house lords, planetary aspects, and the Vimshottari (planet) dasha; Jaimini uses chara karakas, sign aspects, argala, and a sign-based Chara dasha. They often agree — and where they don't, the difference tells you something neither shows alone.
- Do I need a Parashari reading first?
- Not strictly — the report stands on its own. But it's designed as the complementary lens, so it delivers the most when read against your existing Parashari conclusions. Tell us what those were and we'll triangulate explicitly.
- What's so important about the Atmakaraka?
- In Jaimini the Atmakaraka — your highest-degree planet — is the soul significator, the single most important point in the chart, and its placement in the navamsa (the karakamsa) describes your deepest drives and spiritual orientation. Much of the reading radiates from it.
- What's not included?
- This is the Jaimini system specifically; it complements but does not replace the Parashari/Vimshottari reading in Kundali Analysis.
- It is not a remedies report — Jaimini's strength is analysis and timing; for upayas see Remedies-Only Report.
- Best value when you already have a Parashari reading to set it against; on its own it's still complete, but the triangulation is the point.
- We do not sell remedial items.
