The reading

Gemstones are the most over-sold remedy in Jyotish, usually by people who also happen to sell the stone. We do not. This report is an independent recommendation built only from your chart: which grahas are functional benefics worth strengthening for your lagna, which are functional malefics that should not be amplified, and therefore which stone — if any — serves you. A wrong stone is not neutral; strengthening a functional malefic can press on exactly the area you wanted to relieve.

We read the stone question from lagna-based functional nature, planetary dignity and strength, current and upcoming dasha, and the houses each graha rules in your chart. The output is specific and actionable: the primary stone with its reasoning, viable alternates, the carat range and metal and finger, and a muhurta to first wear it — plus an explicit list of stones to avoid for your chart, with why.

And sometimes the honest recommendation is no stone at all — when no graha clearly warrants strengthening, when the benefic you'd reach for is already strong, or when daan/mantra is the better-matched upaya. We will tell you that rather than sell you a ring.

आप क्या जानेंगे

What you'll actually uncover

Read against the classics

  • The stone is chosen from the graha worth strengthening for your lagna — a functional benefic by house lordship and dignity — never from a functional malefic, because amplifying the wrong planet presses on the very area you wanted to relieve. [Jataka Parijata]
  • Each candidate stone is matched to its corresponding graha through the classical planet-to-gem correspondences (ruby for the Sun, pearl for the Moon, and so on), not by colour or fashion. [Brihat Samhita]
  • Authenticity and quality of the stone are treated as load-bearing, not optional — a treated, flawed, or synthetic gem carries none of the intended virtue the texts describe, which is why we insist on a lab-certified natural stone before any specification. [Brihat Samhita][Jataka Parijata]

What's included

Functional benefic / malefic assessment

The foundation: for your specific lagna, which grahas are functional benefics, which are functional malefics, and which are neutral — read from house lordships (e.g. trikona vs dusthana rulers), plus each graha's dignity, strength and dasha relevance. This determines what is safe to strengthen before any stone is named.

Primary stone with full reasoning

The single best-matched stone for your chart, named with the graha it corresponds to and the complete reasoning — why this graha, why now (dasha context), and what specific support it is meant to provide. If the chart genuinely points to "no primary stone," that is stated here with the same rigour.

Alternates

One or two viable alternate stones (including accepted uparatnas / substitutes such as white sapphire for diamond, green tourmaline for emerald, etc.), with the trade-offs of each versus the primary, so you have options across budget and availability.

Carat range, metal and finger

Practical wearing specifications: the recommended carat/ratti range, the metal to set it in (gold / silver / panchadhatu) and why, the finger and hand, and any contact/skin-touch and cleansing notes. Specified so a jeweller can execute without guesswork.

Muhurta for first wearing

An auspicious window to first wear the stone — the appropriate weekday for the graha, suitable tithi/nakshatra, hora, and any timing to avoid — localised to your current city. (If you need a wider date range or event-specific timing, see Muhurta Lookup.)

Stones to AVOID — and why

An explicit list of stones that would be counterproductive for your chart — typically those tied to your functional malefics — each with the reason. This is the half of gemstone advice that sellers omit, and often the most valuable part of the report.

Two follow-up questions

After you receive the report, you may ask two follow-up questions by message or email, and we will answer them to clarify anything in your reading.

How it works

  1. You place the order and complete the intake; we confirm the birth data and note any stones you already wear.
  2. We determine functional benefic/malefic status for your lagna and weigh dignity, strength and dasha.
  3. We select the primary stone (or conclude "no stone"), alternates, specs and a wearing muhurta, reviewed by hand against the texts.
  4. PDF delivered to your email within 24 hours.

प्रश्न

Frequently asked

Will you just confirm the stone my jeweller recommended?
Only if your chart actually supports it. We assess independently and will tell you plainly if the recommended stone targets a functional malefic and should be avoided.
What if the answer is no stone?
Then that's what we'll say, with reasons, and we'll point you to better-matched upayas (daan, mantra, or simply waiting for a dasha shift). We'd rather give an honest "no" than an easy "yes."
Do I really need a lab certificate?
Yes. A treated or synthetic stone won't deliver the intended effect and can be costly. We'll tell you what to ask for so you can buy with confidence from any seller.
What's not included?
  • We do not sell gemstones. This is an independent recommendation; buy from any reputable, lab-certified source you trust.
  • We do not certify or value individual stones; insist on a recognised lab certificate (natural, untreated/declared-treatment) from your jeweller.
  • A gemstone is one upaya among several; this report does not replace the full remedial program in the Deep Kundali Dive-In.
  • Conclusions depend on birth-time accuracy, since functional nature is lagna-based.
