Firdaria divides life into periods ruled by planets, following a fixed 75-year sequence. Abu Ma'shar describes this Persian-Arabic method. This tool shows the sequence and highlights the main period active on your chosen date.
The Sun above the horizon means a day birth; below it means a night birth. Day births start with the Sun's period. Night births start with the Moon's.
Day births start Sun, Venus, Mercury, Moon, Saturn, Jupiter, Mars. Night births start Moon, Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Sun, Venus, Mercury. The Moon's node periods follow. Both sequences cover 75 years.
Sun: 10 years; Moon: 9; Mercury: 13; Venus: 8; Mars: 7. Jupiter: 12; Saturn: 11; North Node: 3; South Node: 2. Planet periods contain seven shorter periods; node periods stay undivided.
A main period is a fixed stretch ruled by one planet. Its shorter periods follow the same planet order, starting with that main planet. The result card names the active shorter period; the table lists all seven.
