Navratri

दिव्य माता की शरद नवरात्रि — अश्विन शुक्ल प्रतिपदा से महानवमी तक नौ रातों का अनुष्ठान। दुर्गा, लक्ष्मी और सरस्वती की क्रमशः तीन-तीन दिन पूजा होती है; देवी माहात्म्य (मार्कण्डेय पुराण, अध्याय 81–93) का रोज पाठ होता है। भारत भर में यह त्योहार बंगाल में दुर्गा पूजा, गुजरात में गरबा-डांडिया, और तमिलनाडु में बोम्मई कोलु के रूप में मनाया जाता है। दसवाँ दिन विजयादशमी होता है।
